About Us

Our studio has evolved from the most unlikely of backgrounds with the principals having spent almost their entire working life in the technology industry. Necessity, however, is the mother of invention and it became apparent very early on that photography skills would be necessary if quality illustrations of their products were to be presented in their marketing and advertising pursuits.

Warren Stone began working with an Olympus OM1 35mm camera in 1974 and added an Olympus OM10 35mm in 1979. It was on these instruments that he honed his craft. Within a very short time, what had begun as a business necessity became an amateur obsession. Photographs of computers, monitors, software and digital printers were replaced by grand vistas and highly prized portraits of family and friends.

When he moved on from his technology business in 2002 after twenty-seven years, it wasn’t long before Warren was looking toward his love of photography as a viable business path: As anyone who has achieved the aim will tell you, there is nothing like doing what you love for a living. The path, however, was not strewn with welcoming roses and it has taken four painstaking years of further training in photography and Adobe Photoshop before he felt confident enough to offer his fine photographic art to others as a genuine quality product. It was also necessary to build a stock of quality digital images to ensure collector satisfaction with the probity and individuality of his art.

His travels have taken him from Broome and Perth to Tasmania, the Red Centre, Sydney, North Queensland, South-East Queensland and Singapore capturing some of the most beautiful scenery of its type to be found in the world. However, it is in his home town of Ipswich that he delights in capturing much of the history and beauty to be found there and the resulting images are represented throughout this site. It is also his work in Adobe Photoshop that allows his work to stand out from the rest of the market. The variety of fine art prints available is wider than you will find at any other photographic fine art site in the world.

Fine photographic art is, by definition, a quality interpretation of an image as interpreted through the eyes of the photographer and subsequently printed on the finest materials using quality, colour fast inks. Warren has sought the advice of other photographers, interior design specialists, gallery owners and current clients in presenting a range of images that he hopes will be well received by discerning collectors, galleries and interior decorators.
